- Trap 30D
- Tru-Catch recommended the 30D and what a great choice. I trapped 5 cats in 2 weeks. Every time I bring a cat to animal control all they do is talk about this trap. The best trap they have ever seen and the cover too. Also sturdy and strong and easy to set. Review by Mike P
- Heavy Duty Animal Trap 30D
-
I purchased the 30D trap after there recommendation. I caught 5 feral cats in less than 2 weeks. Every time I brought a cat to animal control all they could do was talk about the Trucatch trap. They said I never saw a trap like in my life. What a beautiful trap and cover. Sturdy & strong and very well made. I would recommend this trap to anyone who needs one.
Mike P Review by Michael - Very Good Trap for Skunks with Field Modifications
- I purchased this trap along with the 30D trap cover accessory specifically for ridding the neighborhood lawns of an over population of skunks. As I am working with another party to relocate the trapped animals, I wanted a trap with a rear release door that could be used to match up with a transfer cage so the 30D trap could immediately be placed back in service. Knowing skunks are effective digging critters, and also knowing my trap cover wasn't safe from their claws, I wrapped both sides and the top of the trap with 1/4" welded wire mesh from my local hardware store. That allows me to keep the trap cover continually in place over the trap and not have to worry about trying to cover the trap with a blanket when transferring the animal from the trap to the relocation cage. Tie the cover down tightly and don't leave any loose ends that their claws can reach as their claws WILL rip the cover to shreads. I leave both door covers tied down on top of the trap until the skunk is captured. By placing one of my outdoor security cameras near this trap, through the playback of each of the eight captures to date, I can see the digging activity of all of them trying to get out of the trap. And so far, we haven't had a single spraying incident when transferring the animal. If you can coax them to the trap with the proper bait, then entice them into the trap far enough to trip the door, they're caught until you release them. Review by Jim
